Steve “Pops” Cittadino dedicated years serving as an executive board member, coach, mentor and friend to our youth program. This scholarship will be awarded to a former HFA football player or cheerleader who best exemplifies the values with which Pops lead us – respect, sportsmanship and commitment. Pops was a fixture in our association with his commitment to the Holmdel community and his spirit of true volunteerism. He made a difference in the lives of the young boys and girls to whom he dedicated so much of his time.
Criteria:
- Applicant must be a CURRENT HOLMDEL HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR, in good academic standing.
- Applicant must have participated in at least 1 year of Holmdel HS Football, Cheer or Dance
- Applicant must have participated in the Holmdel Football Association program for a minimum of 2 years
Former HFA President Kevin Gallogly dedicated years serving as an executive board member, coach, mentor and friend to our youth program. This scholarship will be awarded to a former HFA football player or cheerleader who best exemplifies the values with which Kevin led us – kindness, true passion for the sport, honesty, commitment to the program and all its members, dedication to helping others in the community and most importantly, in his final years, courage in the face of adversity.
Criteria:
- Applicant must be a CURRENT HOLMDEL HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR, in good academic standing.
- Applicant must have participated in at least 1 year of Holmdel HS Football, Cheer or Dance
- Applicant must have participated in the Holmdel Football Association program for a minimum of 2 years
This Scholarship is in memory of Greg Preziosi and Matthew Picerno. Both were members of the HFA family and our community that lost their lives on 9/11. This scholarship will be awarded to a former HFA football player or cheerleader that possess the qualities required to be a true leader – responsibility, accountability, integrity and
compassion for others.
Criteria:
- Applicant must be a Holmdel Township resident
- Applicant must be a High School senior in good academic standing
- Applicant must have participated in the Holmdel Football Association program for a minimum of 2 years
